Job Overview: Pay Range: $50.00hr - $55.00hr Requirement/Must Have: Proven experience with scientific software in the pharmaceutical sector, particularly in Discovery and Development systems. Expertise in scientific informatics, SDLC, and FAIR data practices. Proven track record in project management, strategic IT planning, and operational efficiency. Strong experience bridging R&D and IT through customer-facing initiatives. Familiarity with chemical databases, compound registration principles, and data management. Knowledge of chemical structure representation formats such as MOL, SDF, SMILES, Inch, and CAS Registry Numbers. Experience with databases including Oracle and SQL. Experience with scripting languages such as Python and SQL is a plus. Ability to ensure compliance with pharmaceutical industry standards and regulatory requirements. Responsibilities: Lead and manage delivery of key tasks and milestones for data integration activities. Collaborate with scientists to identify needs and implement solutions for data capture, storage, search, integration, and visualization, applying FAIR data principles. Process and manage various incoming entity registration requests submitted by medicinal chemists and partner organizations. Support the sample management group for chemical registration and compound categorization based on chemical structures to diversify weekly screening compounds for lead generation. Collaborate with IT Product teams and Solution Architects to define solution needs and delivery approaches aligned with business outcomes. Perform hands-on execution of complex technical tasks, applying business rules to deliver seamless integration activities across systems and data workflows. Partner with cross-functional teams to execute integration plans, especially for unstructured data into the application landscape. Manage onboarding of on-premise and cloud data, along with system migrations and archiving. Support integration for platforms such as eNotebook, browser creation, chem/bioassay data upload, sample logistics, and dashboards using organization-specific tools. Build strong relationships with the IT MA&D and Business Integration Teams, Product Line Leads, and Product Managers. Facilitate cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment and transparency across teams. Serve as a strategic liaison between partners and operational teams, transforming business requirements into executable IT solutions and delivery plans. Develop and maintain detailed project delivery plans, timelines, and risk assessments. Manage and maintain Jira tasks and Kanban boards to track progress, assign responsibilities, and ensure timely delivery of planned milestones.
