Job Description:
The UMC software developer is responsible for design, development, implementation and support of mission-critical enterprise applications.
Using your skills and experience as a software developer, you will participate in gathering and documenting software requirements and using those requirements to design, develop, test and implement web applications and console applications that utilize underlying data store(s)/ data warehouse(s).
Responsibilities:
·         Participate in design / information gathering sessions to document, understand and develop per user requirements
·         Provide training and assistance to end users
·         Design and implement technology best practices, guidelines and repeatable processes
·         Must be able to perform duties with moderate to low supervision
·         Must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field required
  • Minimum 3 years in a development environment
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Exposure to / familiarity with agile development practices preferred
  • Experience with the following technologies is desired:
    • C# / .NET
    • Mobile App Development (Cordova, Xamarin, etc.)

    • HTML/CSS
