Job description

Data Flow Engineer
The Opportunity:
You will join a small, dynamic team where adaptability and a readiness to learn new skills and languages are essential. You will be responsible for designing, building, and implementing solutions for crucial mission dataflows, based on general guidance and support from a team.
As a data flow engineer, you know that good software is more than just a nice-looking interface and data. You need the right combination of clean code, APIs, analytics, and infrastructure to help build a user-oriented solution. We're looking for a data flow engineer like you to develop efficient and effective software, from vision to production-ready system, in an exciting, agile environment.
As an experienced data flow engineer at Booz Allen, you'll use the latest architectural approaches and open-source frameworks and resources to overcome your clients' most difficult challenges. You'll use your passion to master new tools and techniques while helping to identify and implement system improvements. You'll code and deliver solutions that support the current architecture and operating environment, as well as oversee future functionality and enhancements.
Work with us as we shape systems for the better.
Join us. The world can't wait.
You Have:
  • Experience designing, modifying, developing, writing, and implementing software programming applications
  • Experience in software development with basic programming languages, technologies, tools, or web development stacks
  • Experience writing source code for new applications or generating and enhancing code samples for existing applications
  • Experience using back-end and front-end languages to develop complete solutions
  • Experience creating solutions to complex problems within a collaborative, cross-functional team
  • Experience with mission data flows, data infrastructure, and data pipelines
  • TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
  • HS diploma or GED and 6+ years of experience with software engineering, or Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience with software engineering

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with AWS
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker
  • Knowledge of Go programming

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
