Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to accomplish each of the below duties satisfactorily:
  • Teach lower-division courses in some or all of the following: Business Data Analytics, Accounting, Finance, Econometrics, Economics and others as needed by the department.
  • As conditions permit, teaching graduate courses in the MBA programs.
  • Other courses may include: Ethics, Management, Operations and other core business courses.
  • Service to the university as a business club Faculty Advisor, on one or more committees or in another capacity.
  • Support departmental initiatives such as on campus speaking engagements, supplemental instruction, and prospective student recruitment events (on and off campus).
  • Development of new courses as needed by the department.
  • Networking and maintaining relationships in the business community.
  • Participation in a variety of extra-curricular and co-curricular events in support of students, business programs & community events, as invited to do so.
  • To model, exhibit, and encourage behavior which supports the business school and university's mission, vision, and strategic plan.

The School of Business offers 3 undergraduate degrees: Business Administration (with 10 emphases), Economics and Sports Business. Three MBA programs are offered: Traditional MBA, MBA Sports Business and MBA Managerial Science (STEM). The undergraduate program offers emphases include: Accounting, Business Data Analytics, Business Economics, Data Science (Finance), Finance, Healthcare Management, International Business, Marketing, Management.
Pay Range: $66,000-$98,000 per year
