Job description

Description

Operates hoist, water spray equipment and conveyor in stripping and handling blankets.

Set-up and operate Expanding Machines.

Maintains blanket condition by adjusting preheater and using external fans.

Required to expand blanket manually. 

Wash and sweep floors

All other duties as assigned

Requirements

Demonstrated Technical Competencies to include:  

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Ability to write and keep records of production information and correspondence.

Computer skills - Basic data entry

Demonstrated Professional Competencies to include: 

Ability to schedule production needs with other responsibilities.

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Mechanical ability to make adjustments and trouble shoot mechanical problems or areas of concern.

Ability to learn new process and procedures and be promoted to the next level.
