Join a Global Logistics LeaderLOGISTEED America is seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Clerk to support our warehouse and distribution operations in Jackson, Georgia. This position plays a critical role in ensuring customer shipments are routed accurately, processed efficiently, and delivered using the appropriate carrier and service level.
The ideal candidate will have experience working in a warehouse, distribution center, or logistics environment and be proficient with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and the Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Outlook. This role is primarily clerical and involves shipment processing, transportation coordination, inventory transactions, and data management. However, employees must be willing to assist in warehouse operations when business needs require additional support or workload levels allow.

  • Process and route customer shipments using approved carriers and transportation methods.
  • Ensure shipments are assigned the correct service level and delivery priority.
  • Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to manage shipping, receiving, inventory, and order transactions.
  • Prepare and maintain shipping documentation and transportation records.
  • Monitor shipment status and resolve routing or shipping discrepancies.
  • Accurately enter, review, and maintain operational data and reports.
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets and reports using Microsoft Excel.
  • Support daily warehouse operations by coordinating shipment priorities and workflow.
  • Research inventory and shipment activity within multiple systems.
  • Communicate effectively with internal departments to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment.
  • Assist supervisors with administrative and operational support tasks.
  • Cross-train in warehouse functions and assist with warehouse activities when business needs dictate.

QualificationsRequired
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 2 years of warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain experience.
