Job description

Overview

The Data Entry Clerk I and II supports operational and administrative functions by accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data within internal systems and databases. This role plays a key part in ensuring data integrity for oil & gas operations, with exposure to systems such as OpenInvoice, OpenTicket, and Wellview. Individuals in this position will receive training and are expected to follow established processes while working with moderate supervision.

Responsibilities
  • Enter, update, and maintain data in company systems and databases
  • Review and assess source documents to determine required data entry and proper placement
  • Compile, sort, and organize information to prepare for data input
  • Prioritize tasks based on urgency and project requirements
  • Follow established data entry procedures and company guidelines
  • Identify data discrepancies or issues and escalate when needed
  • Maintain accuracy and attention to detail in all data-related tasks
  • Support project work within systems such as OpenInvoice, OpenTicket, and Wellview
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of assignments
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience in data entry or administrative support, in the oil and gas industry required.
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with Wellview highly preferred.
  • Experience with OpenInvoice, OpenTicket, or similiar billing systems required.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Problem-solving ability within defined scope
  • Must be able to meet all conditional job offer requirements.
