Warehouse Associate Part-Time

E amp;H Ace Hardware is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support our warehouse operations and ensure the smooth flow of inventory from receiving to stocking. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, has a strong sense of organization, and takes pride in creating an efficient and safe environment.

As a Warehouse Associate, you’ll be a critical part of the store’s daily operations—helping maintain accurate inventory, assisting customers with large orders, and ensuring that products are stored and stocked properly.


What You’ll Do:

Inventory Management amp; Receiving

  • Verify incoming merchandise against invoices and purchase orders

  • Report shortages, damages, or backorders to the appropriate team member

  • Label, price, and organize merchandise for stocking

  • Maintain accurate receiving files and inventory records

  • Restock product in the warehouse and assist in placing it on the sales floor

Customer amp; Team Support

  • Load customer purchases into vehicles carefully and efficiently

  • Assist customers and team members with lifting, moving, or locating large items

  • Use a 2-way radio and respond promptly to calls and pages

  • Communicate effectively with management, delivery personnel, and store associates

Warehouse Maintenance

  • Keep the warehouse, storage areas, and check-in zones clean and orderly

  • Maintain the customer loading area and special order storage zones

  • Perform maintenance on receiving tools and equipment (floor scrubbers, buffers, etc.)

  • Secure documents such as invoices, purchase orders, and receiving records

General Operations

  • Operate forklifts, pushcarts, and other warehouse equipment safely

  • Prepare and package items for mailing or transfer

  • Assist with promotional setup and special event displays

  • Adhere to all safety procedures and company protocols

Janitorial amp; Special Projects

  • Clean restrooms, offices, and the sales floor as assigned

  • Use and maintain floor cleaning machines for store upkeep

  • Participate in store meetings and training sessions

  • Complete special projects as directed by store leadership


What You’ll Bring:
  • High school diploma or GED (required)

  • Basic computer skills (PC operations and basic data entry)

  • Forklift certification (can be obtained through the company)

  • Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team

  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and efficiency


Physical amp; Work Environment Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and move up to 100 lbs. with assistance

  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and climbing

  • Regular use of hands to handle tools, products, and materials

  • Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor conditions (including heat, cold, and dust)

  • Exposure to mechanical equipment and moderate noise levels
