Responsibilities Include

  • Material & Inventory Management: Utilize barcoding technology to stage materials, track accurate inventory levels during production runs, and maintain a steady supply of job-specific components.
  • Logistics & Safety Inspections: Safely operate industrial vehicles, including forklifts, hoists, and pallet jacks; perform and document essential daily safety inspections on all transport equipment.
  • Chemical Processing: Mix, test, and apply chemical formulas according to exact recipes; ensure the rigorous handling and eco-friendly disposal of all process-related substances.
  • Quality Control & Troubleshooting: Conduct precise testing per control documents, monitor real-time data for deviations, and initiate Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) to resolve quality gaps alongside Engineering and R&D.
  • Digital Data Entry: Leverage ERP systems and MS Office to verify product specifications and log comprehensive production data upon completion of each run.
  • Collaborative Innovation: Work cross-functionally with Quality and Research teams to pilot new procedures, troubleshoot mechanical glitches, and refine production workflows.
  • Finishing & Reporting: Professional packaging of finished goods, including labeling, banding, and stretch-wrapping skids; provide detailed shift-change or progress reports to leadership.
  • Leadership Support: Step in as a backup Lead Operator when necessary to ensure seamless continuity across the floor.
  • Workplace Standards: Champion "5S" methodologies to sustain a pristine, organized, and hazard-free environment for yourself and the following shift.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience & Education: High School Diploma or GED required, backed by at least 2 years of hands-on machine operation within a manufacturing or production setting.
  • Technical & Mathematical Aptitude: * Strong competency in math for recipe mixing and measurement.
  • High "learning agility" with the ability to retain complex operational knowledge across multiple process areas.
  • Comfortable navigating ERP software and basic computer applications for data tracking.
  • Physical Requirements: * Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including bending, pushing, and lifting up to 60 lbs.
  • Stamina to work within a fast-paced environment while strictly adhering to PPE and hazardous material safety protocols.
