About this opportunity
This position is responsible for efficiently providing solutions to customer questions, concerns and inquiries through a positive and respectful dialogue. Ability to multi-task and effectively manage customer calls and other administrative responsibilities is essential.
What your role will look like
  • Manage and respond to customer questions, concerns and inquiries accurately and appropriately.
  • Provide customers with requested information by using application software or other appropriate means and assist customers to achieve total satisfaction.
  • Prepare documentation for data entry and perform data entry such as payments and account information.
  • Process residential and commercial credit checks.
  • Interact with customers and co-workers in a respectful and courteous manner and maintain confidentiality of all customer information.
  • Use Eastern's application software system accurately and successfully.
  • Answer customer concerns by phone, email, and chat.
  • Review credit reports and resolve large balance and overdue accounts.
  • Meet attendance expectations, which involve consistently arriving to work on time and being prepared to work within assigned, scheduled work hours, understanding that these scheduled work hours may vary based on the seasonal needs of the department.
  • Be receptive to and competently use new technologies.
  • Be receptive to and successfully complete other duties as assigned.
What you'll bring to this role
  • Education: Minimum of high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Experience operating a multi-line/function phone system
  • Must possess general knowledge of applicable codes to assist technicians
