You'll gain access to hands-on training to fuel your growth and success, explore opportunities for new solutions, and you'll join a winning team of 10,000+ people all dedicated to raising the bar - together.If you have a strong drive for results, a desire to help us bring the world together through our fries, and are ready for a fresh challenge, we want to hear from you.Job Description SummaryThis position operates and adjusts all process equipment chopped and formed line for smooth and productive operations; monitors lineflow and waste; corrects problems which affect quality and production costs; and makes line changes as directed by the production lead or team leader.Job DescriptionObtain work schedule and daily production paperwork, report to the assigned line, complete walk through and prepare for operations.Put on all required Personal Protective Equipment and Safety Gear and perform a safety check on equipment to be used in daily operations and ensure that all safety devices are functioning properly.Check schedule, work orders and bulk product inventory, take oil, blancher and finished product samples to lab as required.Monitor the blancher and fryer, complete walk through, take samples, make adjustments, check drains and magnets as required.Manually dump and / or scoop ingredients and condiments into hoppers according to recipe and pump oil from fryer as required.Keep the work area clear and clean, hose down area, sweep / shovel up spills, empty trash and replace liners.At end of shift, secure all equipment, complete all required paperwork, perform general housekeeping and wet clean-up as required.Performs other duties as assigned.Basic & Preferred QualificationsEducation/ Certifications: (Required & Preferred) High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) preferredLock-out/Tag-out, Ariel Lift, and Sanitation certification are required. If you are not qualified, you will be trained and must meet certification requirements.Skills and Experience: Effectively communicate in English verbally and in writing. Ability to understand instructions and follow directions in English, both written and oral. (Requirement may vary by location).Experience operating aerial lift in warehouse or manufacturing establishment preferred.Must be able to be qualified within time frames established by facility.Ability to perform basic math functions, required.To perform this job successfully, an individual should have basic computer operation knowledge, data entry skills, and be proficient in Microsoft Office programs.Physical Environment/Demands: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and to stand, walk, bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently.Exposed to a noisy environment that varies from hot to cold in temperatureExposure to manufacturing environments for up to 8 hours per work day to include: loud noise, excessive heat, cold, wet, slippery conditions, dirt, fumes, smoke, smells and allergiesAbility to do repetitious arm, wrist and hand movements required for job actions and procedures.Must be able to work with hands and arms overhead, and to work in or under the equipment.Requires manual dexterity, overall coordination and good balance to work both at ground level and in high places to perform job duties.
