JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for managing the operation of a storage terminal(s). Conducts loading and unloading activities. Assists in coordinating delivery schedules. Engages in or supervises terminal construction and repair work.
All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, and vision of the organization.   • Monitors process indicators, instruments, gauges, and meters to detect and report any possible problems
  • Assists with data entry in terminal automation software, electronic devices, and other approved platforms
  • Safely climbs various equipment components of the facility to collect samples, data and perform other necessary work on a regular basis
  • Responsible for operation of manual and automatic valves, meters, pumps, loading stations and transfer systems that move product between truck, tanks, and pipelines
  • Assists with mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation maintenance within the terminal
  • Collects and/or catches samples from tanks, pipes, and tank trucks and any additional/special samples as required
  • Assists with information gathering for inventory and compliance reporting
  • Reads unit gauges to determine the flow rate of product into and from tanks and the amount of product in tanks
  • Responsible for loading and unloading Trucks
  • Testing Fuel, Logging Fuel, Blending, and Fuel Additive information
  • Inspects equipment on a scheduled timeframe
  • Assists with preventive maintenance of terminal equipment
  • Performs housekeeping and grounds maintenance using motorized equipment
  • Assists with pre-job planning and safe work permitting
  • Responsible for performing duties related to pipeline/terminal (maintenance, safety, light construction, etc.)
  • Passes required OQ (Operator Qualification) testing
  • Completes FEMA ICS 100 & 200 Training
  • Performs needed tasks within the company's Spill Response Team
  • Participates in annual boom deployment training
  • Completes bi-annual First-Aid, CPR and AED training
  • Completes 40hr Hazwoper Training
  • Attends one spill exercise bi-annually

  • Lifting and transporting materials and/or equipment up to 50 pounds and operating company-issued hand and power tools up to 33% of working time
  • Wearing required company-provided personal protective equipment for routine and emergency operations
  • Successfully completing all required training and Department of Transportation Operator Qualification evaluations
  • Adhering to all safety and environmental policies and standards
