General Description
Assignments are routine in nature and are carried out in accordance with general work instructions and established bookkeeping practices, procedures and precedents.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
โ€ข Enter Seafarer personal data into database, assign File Identification Numbers, and prepare documents for evaluation.
โ€ข Enter documents to be issued including endorsement information, reconciliation of payments to documents issued, merge and print documents.
โ€ข Physical assembly of Seafarer Identification & Record Books and Officer Licenses, confirmation of seafarer personal data and correctly issued documents.
โ€ข Finalize work orders, confirm payment methods, and prepare documents for delivery to agent.
โ€ข Mail completed documents and invoices to agents according to procedure.
โ€ข Prep and Scan completed documents and save to the T: Drive Seafarers Scanned docs folder.
โ€ข Verify scanned completed documents and save to the T: Drive Seafarers Network Scanned docs folder.
โ€ข Miscellaneous duties as requested by management level staff.General Qualification Guidelines
Experience, Education and Certification
โ€ข High School degree required, additional formal education preferred.
โ€ข Knowledge of clerical principles and practices.
โ€ข Minimum 1 year of Administration experience.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
โ€ข Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office application and use of general office equipment.
โ€ข Ability to work in a team environment and a commitment to provide high level of customer service.
