Job Description

Marine Travelift is excited to be adding a full time Data Entry Specialist to our growing Purchasing Department. Your primary focus is on important administrative support responsibilities managing a wide variety of data with heavy data entry and the use of databases and other resources.

Job Responsibilities

  • Serves as the primary administrative support person for the supply chain department while learning supply chain operations
  • Enter hard copy data electronically, accurately and in a timely manner
  • This role ensures all assigned products are properly quoted, ordered, delivered and available for shipment
  • Enter accurate data within internal operating systems for reporting purposes
  • Process purchase orders, product quotes, and internal information requests
  • Works with a variety of data sources related to supply chain operations
  • All other duties and responsibilities that are assigned

Job Qualifications

  • Strong keyboard and data entry skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills is a must
  • Experience with Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel is required
  • Organized and efficient
