Job description

Unit ID Associate

Adecco is looking for detail-oriented Unit ID Associates to join the Distribution Center team. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring that inbound merchandise is accurately identified, tracked, and prepared for processing. The Unit ID Associate validates style, color, and size against purchase orders and creates detailed SKUs to ensure merchandise flows correctly through the Distribution Center.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform 2nd level sort processing, breaking down cartons by style and preparing merchandise for further handling

  • Use the RDM system to verify item details, create sub-SKUs, and track merchandise throughout the DC process

  • Print and review receiving worksheets to ensure accuracy of purchase orders

  • Transfer merchandise from vendor cartons into company cartons/totes

  • Apply carton and pallet labels (MLPs and LPNs) for tracking and ticketing purposes

  • Accurately enter data into DC computer systems

  • Record production on daily tracking sheets

  • Use box cutters safely to open inbound cartons

  • Maintain accuracy and attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment

  • Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Ability to conduct heavy lifting and stand for the majority of the shift

  • Intermediate computer knowledge and ability to navigate systems for data entry

  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to read small print and follow written instructions in English

  • Must pass math, Unit ID, and MS Word aptitude testing

  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and problem-solving skills

  • Reliable, team-oriented, and committed to meeting deadlines and production goals


Pay Details: $20.00 per hour
