Job Details We are currently seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Transcriptionist for our client in Fayetteville, AR. The Data Entry Transcriptionist will play a key role in supporting document processing and administrative accuracy within a structured office environment. This position reports to the Policy Services Supervisor and is responsible for ensuring that data is accurately entered, transcribed, and maintained according to company and regulatory standards. The Data Entry Transcriptionist will work closely with internal teams to support efficient workflow and high-quality policy documentation handling. Job Purpose: The Data Entry Transcriptionist is responsible for assisting with the accurate transcription, entry, and organization of policy-related information. This Data Entry Transcriptionist role is essential to maintaining operational efficiency, supporting underwriting processes, and ensuring all records are complete, consistent, and compliant with internal guidelines. The Data Entry Transcriptionist will contribute directly to the accuracy and timeliness of policy services and documentation processing. Key Responsibilities
  • Compute and accurately input rates and premiums for new business, renewals, endorsements, and cancellations.
  • Transcribe and process policy documentation including binders, endorsements, cancellations, billing documents, and cancellation notices.
  • Maintain accurate data entry of policy information into internal systems with a high level of precision.
  • Follow up on outstanding suspense items and ensure timely resolution.
  • Organize, update, and maintain underwriting and policy files for accuracy and completeness.
  • Invoice accounts in accordance with agency standards and internal procedures.
  • Support service functions by responding to inquiries, requests, and policy-related questions.
  • Assist with issuing policy documentation, notices of cancellation, and non-renewals as required.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate, carrier, and regulatory standards in all data entry and transcription activities.
  • Provide backup support for associate underwriting functions and front desk operations when needed.
  • Maintain consistency, accuracy, and confidentiality in all Data Entry Transcriptionist responsibilities.
  • Perform additional administrative and transcription duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma required; additional business or administrative coursework preferred.
  • Strong typing, data entry, and transcription abilities with a high attention to detail.
