Nutrition Data and Billing Coordinator

"People Helping People," has been the foundation of Senior Friendship Centers for 50 years, and we are looking for a dynamicNutrition Data and Billing Coordinator! This position willoversee data production and billing for the Nutrition Department and will ensure the quality of the data produced. They will perform daily data entry, report generation activities, and assist with tracking contract spending in compliance with various program regulations.

The successful applicant will be an organized individual who routinely reaches deadlines. The applicant will work as an integral member of our team and will embody the core values of the Senior Friendship Centers including: Respect, Compassion, Integrity and Collaboration. This is a primarily remote, part-time position and will work around 27.5 hours a week, Monday - Friday during regular business hours. The employee will need to live within commuting distance to our campus for training and required in-person meetings with advanced notice.

The mission of the Senior Friendship Centers is to promote health, dignity and quality of life throughout the journey of aging. Older adults throughout four counties in Southwest Florida rely on Senior Friendship Centers for help with nutrition, adult day services, social engagement, education, help in times of crisis, and so much more.

Essential Functions:

Operational

  • Assist in client reports, logs, and case file documentation.

  • Assist with data entry of vendor billing and worker sheet verifications.

  • Perform required follow-up of client services when needed.

  • Conduct and organize client satisfaction surveys on a quarterly and annual basis.

  • Follow up with vendors regarding client complaints and concerns.

  • Assist in annual vendor monitoring.

  • Research and inform clients of community resources.

  • Run database reporting as requested.

  • Reviews prepared data to ensure it is adequate, accurate, and complies with requirements.

  • Develop and coordinate procedures for daily data entry including worksheets, billing, filing systems, and vendor invoice reconciliation.

  • Work with the Nutrition Director to implement procedures for grant expenditure monitoring internally, monitor budgetary status and expenditures to achieve goals.

  • Coordinate with database programs to ensure program data is being recorded appropriately and accurately. Responsible for timely and accurate reporting to fiscal and AAA, including monthly, quarterly, and other reports.

  • Develop and implement billing procedures for subcontractors. May resolve conflicts with vendor billing when necessary.

  • Provide administrative support to the Nutrition Director, as necessary.

  • The position requires schedule flexibility as it deals with deadlines for reporting and information gathering.

  • Report any incident of abuse or neglect as mandated by the state guidelines.

  • Must comply with HIPAA regulations and OSHA laws and safety guidelines.

Organizational

  • Attend staff meetings, training, and seminars as required.

  • Must comply with all Senior Friendship Centers personnel policies.

  • Must protect the safety and health of staff, volunteers, participants, and others by observing and following the organization's safety and incident policies.
