Position Summary: Thompson Holdings' Safety Department is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team. The Administrative Assistant will provide essential administrative support to the Safety Department by managing documentation, maintaining records, coordinating communications, and assisting with safety and compliance-related activities. This role helps ensure that safety records, training documentation, vendor platform information, and compliance requirements are accurate, current, and properly maintained while upholding the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism.
This position is currently classified as a part-time role; however, there is potential for the position to transition into a full-time opportunity based on business needs and organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and manage safety compliance platforms such as ISNetworld, DISA, and Avetta, ensuring all company information is current and accurate
  • Track, monitor, and update employee safety training records and certifications
  • Assist in coordinating and administering safety training programs and onboarding requirements
  • Perform high-volume data entry with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail
  • Generate reports and provide documentation related to safety compliance and audits
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, employees, and external vendors regarding safety requirements and updates
  • Ensure strict adherence to confidentiality standards when handling sensitive employee and company information
  • Support compliance efforts by maintaining records in accordance with regulatory and company requirements
  • Assist with audits, inspections, and corrective action tracking

Qualifications:
  • Preferred experience with ISNetworld, DISA, Avetta, or similar contractor compliance platforms
