DU Family of Companies is a network of fire protection, life safety, and security service companies, protecting people and property across 35+ branches in 11 states. Founded in 1993, W&M Fire & Security, based in Plantsville, CT, is a full-service fire protection contractor serving the tristate and New England regions. The company specializes in the design, installation, fabrication, inspection, and maintenance of fire sprinkler, fire alarm, special hazard, and life safety systems for new construction and service customers. Due to continued growth, we are looking to add a temporary, full-time Administrative Assistant - Data Entry & Records Review to our Plantsville, CT team, with the potential for the position to become permanent. This onsite role supports a company-wide data cleanup project by reviewing historical inspection reports, identifying the applicable year of service, and accurately entering information into the company's system. Success in this role requires accuracy, organization, confidentiality, dependable attendance, and the ability to remain focused while completing detailed and repetitive work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review previous inspection reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify and document the applicable year of service for each inspection record.
  • Enter information from historical reports into the company's designated system.
  • Update customer and inspection records accurately and consistently.
  • Identify and flag missing, unclear, or inconsistent information for review.
  • Maintain organized electronic records and follow established document-management procedures.
  • Protect confidential customer and company information.
  • Perform regular quality checks to verify the accuracy of entered data.
  • Communicate questions or documentation issues to the appropriate team member.
  • Support additional data-entry, records-review, and administrative projects as assigned.

Qualifications:
