Pharmacy Technician – Data Entry (Long-Term Care, Day Shift)

Worcester, MA | Full-Time | Daytime Schedule

We are a closed-door Long-Term Care pharmacy seeking a Pharmacy Technician – Data Entry to join our team in Worcester, MA. This role is ideal for technicians who enjoy accuracy, structure, and working behind the scenes—no retail environment and no patient-facing counter work.

Why This Role?

Schedule

  • Monday–Friday 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM

  • Short weekend shifts on rotation basis

  • No late evenings

Key Responsibilities

  • Enter and process prescription orders accurately

  • Review medication orders for completeness and clarity

  • Maintain patient profiles and medication records

  • Communicate with pharmacists, nurses, and prescribers as needed

  • Support cycle fills, short-cycle fills, and LTC workflows

  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and pharmacy regulations

Qualifications

  • Pharmacy Technician experience required

  • Data entry experience strongly preferred
