Job description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized QA Incoming Inspector to support our Quality team by inspecting incoming materials, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring records are complete before materials enter production. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and data entry skills who enjoys working in a structured environment. Previous quality assurance experience is a plus, but training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform accurate data entry and maintain quality records using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word.
  • Verify incoming shipment documentation, including Certificates of Analysis (COAs), for accuracy and completeness.
  • Collect and organize samples of incoming materials following established procedures.
  • Assist with incoming inspections of raw materials, components, and packaging.
  • Perform basic quality testing, including FT-IR testing, following standard operating procedures (training provided).
  • Maintain organized records and sample logs to ensure traceability.
  • Report documentation discrepancies or quality concerns to the Quality team.
  • Ensure sampled materials are properly labeled, stored, and documented.
  • Assist with preparing and tracking samples sent for additional testing.
  • Support the Quality department with administrative tasks, filing, and recordkeeping.
  • Follow company safety policies, GMP procedures, and standard operating procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and basic computer skills.
  • Excellent data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Previous experience in an administrative, data entry, warehouse, manufacturing, or office environment is preferred.
  • Quality Assurance, GMP, or food manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required—training will be provided.
