Job description

RMS Asset Management LLC, a specialized asset manager for portfolios of mortgage loans and REOs, is looking for a Mortgage Accounting Data Entry Specialist to join its Accounting and Reporting team.  The data entry specialist will be working closely with the accounting manager and report to the controller.  This position will be based in our office in West Los Angeles, CA. 

Job Description:

·         Ensure all monthly remittance reports are received on time from the loan servicers

·         Ensure all remittance reports are organized and stored on the company’s network

·         Upload remittance reports to the GL system and ensure loadings are correct

·         Work with loan servicers to resolve issues on remittance reports

·         Assist with ad-hoc and other administrative/accounting related tasks

Qualifications:

·         Proficient in MS Excel and Outlook

·         Detailed-oriented and organized

·         Excellent communication skills and ability to complete tasks in a timely manner
