Join our team as a Cashier/Charge Entry Clerk and play a pivotal role in helping the Hospital’s Revenue Cycle and Financial Services departments run efficiently. What You’ll Do:

  • Gather, receive, review, and batch all charge forms for processing, reviewing for accuracy and completeness
  • Post and reconcile charge batches against posted batches
  • Scan charge batches, ensuring each is complete and the scanned copy is readable
  • Gather incoming payments on patient accounts and prepare deposits
  • Enter credit card payments into the bank machine
  • Post paper payments and reconcile posted payment batches
  • Download and post electronic insurance and government payer remittances
  • Reconcile the electronic downloads to the electronic fund transfers
  • Generate daily claim batches in Meditech
  • Print various reports as required, such as patient demographics, for physicians

Required:

  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • Minimum one year data entry/keyboarding experience
