Job Summary:

The Warehouse Clerk plays a critical role in the smooth and efficient operation of our warehouse. This position is responsible for accurate data entry, inventory control, shipping and receiving documentation, and supporting the day-to-day logistics of raw materials and finished goods. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills, experience working with warehouse systems, and a commitment to accuracy and teamwork.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Process shipping and receiving documentation accurately and in a timely manner
  • Maintain inventory records and assist in cycle counts and reconciliations
  • Enter material movements and transactions in the inventory management system
  • Coordinate with forklift operators and warehouse staff to ensure materials are staged, stored, and shipped correctly
  • Verify inbound deliveries against purchase orders and report discrepancies
  • Prepare and print labels, Bills of Lading (BOL), and other logistics documentation
  • Maintain records of product codes, lot numbers, and storage locations
  • Support organization of warehouse supplies, paperwork, and documentation files
  • Maintain communication with external vendors, brokers, or customers through email and other electronic communication channels.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures related to safety, food safety, and quality standards, including GMPs, PPE requirements, and hazard reporting
  • Manage the inbound process for bulk tankers and bulk unloading.
  • Perform all other duties or tasks as assigned by management to support departmental or company objectives.

  • Shipping Accuracy: Correct loading and documentation of outbound shipments
  • Inventory Accuracy: Discrepancy rate between physical counts and system records
  • Timeliness of Transactions: On-time entry of receipts, transfers, and shipments

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • 3-5 years' experience in a warehouse or transportation role preferred
  • Experience with inventory management systems (e.g., ERP, WMS) preferred


Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience with SAP, WMS, and TMS software
  • Understanding of warehouse safety and food safety procedures
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in cold, hot, or fast-paced production and warehouse environments, both indoors and outdoors as needed throughout the shift
