Job description

Responsible for performing GMAW welding processes/Carbon Arc Gouging on production materials in compliance with the required specifications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Carries out responsibilities with safety and efficiency as a priority. Prioritizes the well-being of colleagues and actively contributes to the safety program by collaborating, sharing ideas, and voicing concerns. Adheres to training guidelines, policies, and procedures while maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Proactively identifies and addresses potential hazards.
  • Ensure compliance with quality control standards and maintain required AWS certifications, including meeting or exceeding the 85% UT pass ratio.
  • Operate assigned equipment with full knowledge of its capabilities and applicable welding codes, handle machine setup and routine maintenance.
  • Complete all job-related paperwork and data entry accurately and manage tasks independently with minimal supervision, while maintaining the required weld Earned Hour Ratio.
  • Operates forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material handling equipment to safely and efficiently transport materials as required.
  • Capable of working independently or as a team with minimum supervision.

Shift:
  • 1st Shift - 6:00am - 4:30pm
  • 2nd Shift - 4:30pm - 3:00am

Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
