Job description

Overview of the Position:
Perform various aspects of warehouse functions including counting, pick, put away, auto packing and cycle counts of aviation components for accurate customer order processing.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Follow and ensure compliance to all company policies and procedures
  • Process customer orders in an efficient and accurate manner in order to prepare for shipping, while meeting or exceeding departmental goals for production and quality.
  • Help to maintain cycle count, inventory spreadsheets, databases and quality charts.
  • Make appropriate inventory adjustments through our data entry system.
  • Ensure product is kept neat and in an orderly fashion per 5S methods.
  • Assist and perform with daily picking, packing, counting of products for shipments.
  • Use of warehouse equipment may require forklift use and certification.
  • Other duties as assigned

Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to pass pre-screening aptitude test for data entry, recognition and math skills.
  • Ability to meet or exceed quality and performance metrics.
  • Experience with general warehouse equipment forklift, pallet jack, wrap (forklift certification preferred).
  • Capable of working well independently and within attendance guidelines.
  • Ability to work occasional overtime.

Education / Experience Requirements: High School Diploma or G.E.D. Minimal 1-2 years Warehouse/distribution experience in areas of shipping, order filling and material control, AVIATION COMPONENT EXPERIENCE STRONGLY DESIRED
