Overview

Join us and be part of our growing team of skilled caregivers at our premiere skilled nursing center, River Towne Center.  The Center provides long-term skilled nursing care and short-term post-acute rehabilitation. We are committed to the overall care of our residents through our culture, vision, and core values.

Responsibilities

  • Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) work under the direction and supervision of RNs and LPNs to enhance the residents' experience by providing basic nursing care.

  • Assists with activities of daily living (ADLs), including feeding, bathing, oral hygiene, dressing, grooming, and transferring all while ensuring the health, comfort, and safety of all assigned residents.

  • Documents all care provided and reports changes in resident's status to primary nurse. Performs advanced functions including vital signs, skin health, and promotion of wound healing.

Qualifications

Required Minimum Education

High School Diploma or equivalent from an accredited program

Required Minimum Experience

  • Ability to enter information into an electronic health record (EHR)

  • Basic medical terminology

Required Minimum Certification(s)

  • Active GA CNA Certification on the Georgia Nurse Aide Registry

  • Basic Life Support (BLS)

Required Skills

  • Ability to read, write, and speak the English language

  • Basic computer skills to include data entry

  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
