Job description

Gaming Security - Lead Data Entry Operator

Work with surveillance and casino operations at multiple properties to obtain surveillance video footage of casino table game play. Primary role is to enter data associated with compiling Blackjack surveys, Baccarat play evaluations, Craps play evaluations and Ultimate Texas Hold'em play evaluations, while also training and helping Data Entry Operators to do the same.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Monitor live and recorded surveillance of gaming and sensitive areas.
  • Identify and report irregular play, cheating, theft, fraud, or policy violations.
  • Prepare accurate written reports and preserve video evidence.
  • Promptly notify leadership of suspected violations.
  • Work closely and collaboratively with Table Games leadership and staff.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and follow all internal policies.
  • Operate surveillance systems and report equipment issues.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or GED required. Three (3) or more years' experience in casino operations or casino surveillance preferred.
  • Strong computer skills required.
  • Attention to detail, professionalism, and integrity.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Work Environment:

  • May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke and excessive noise.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

  • The Casino environment is hectic, fast-paced and often crowded and noisy. May be exposed to casino related environmental factors including, but not limited to, second hand smoke, excessive noise and constant exposure to general public.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with guests in English, specific to position duties and responsibilities.
