Job Summary
The Data Entry Clerk is responsible for supporting office operations by accurately entering data, verifying billing information, and providing high-quality customer service. This role requires attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Position Duties & Responsibilities
  • Process and enter customer orders accurately into internal systems
  • Verify billing information and ensure invoices are accurate before submission
  • Answer and direct calls on a multi-line phone system, providing prompt and courteous service
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues efficiently
  • Maintain accurate records and files for billing, orders, and customer accounts
  • Assist with general office tasks as needed to support department operations
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure workflow efficiency and data accuracy
Qualifications
  • Proven customer service skills with professional, courteous communication
  • Ability to multitask effectively in a busy, deadline-driven environment
  • Strong organizational skills and keen attention to detail
  • General computer proficiency; familiarity with office software preferred
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
Physical Requirements
