Location: fully onsite, Franklin, TN
Receive all incoming documents for Revecore, evaluate the contents, determine whether the document can be appended to an existing patient file or if it requires the creation of a new file, attach the document, and make any necessary updates or additions to the patient file.
Responsibilities:
  • Receive mail, review incoming paper documents, sort by facility and/or patient, and scan into the system
  • Ensure that any incoming document (fax or paper) contains information relating to exactly one patient by splitting faxes/separating pages, as required
  • Identify key information on a document, search the system for the patient, and accurately determine whether the document can be added to an existing patient record or if it requires the creation of a new patient record
  • Create new patient records in the system utilizing the information available on specified documents and properly attach the document to the patient record
  • Update a patient record with information included in an incoming document and attach the document to the record
  • Successfully interact with and compile data in a variety of formats including paper, fax, and electronic
  • Consistently achieve production standards and QA requirements
  • Perform special projects as assigned
  • Maintain confidential information, whether verbal, written or electronic
  • Will not access or attempt to access confidential data that is unrelated to my job duties in the course of my work at Revecore
  • Will not disclose Protected Health Information (PHI) in violation of law

Education/Licensing/Certifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Responsibilities:
  • 1+ years data entry, call center, healthcare, or insurance experience preferred
  • Type 35 WPM with minimal errors
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal customers
  • Ability to enter and process large amounts of information quickly and efficiently with minimal errors
  • Proven to be reliable, dependable, trustworthy, and able to work with minimal supervision
  • Working knowledge of computer functions including the internet, and computer software such as Microsoft Office Suite and Word Perfect; ability to learn new systems
  • Be comfortable working with applicable technologies including (but not limited to) printer, scanner, postage machines and scales, mail sorters, label makers, and in-house systems
