Essential Job Functions:
Manage and execute data engineering projects and tasks, ensuring they meet project objectives.
Collaborate with other teams to gather and understand data requirements.
Develop and maintain data pipelines, ensuring data quality and security.
Provide technical guidance and support to team members when needed.
Contribute to the data engineering strategy and ensure it aligns with the overall business goals.
Monitor and optimize data processes for performance and efficiency.
Assist in the evaluation and implementation of new data technologies.
Promote collaboration, learning, and best practices within the team.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
7+ years of relevant work experience
Proven experience in data engineering
Proficiencies in data engineering tools and technologies
A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology
Other Qualifications:
Advanced degree in a relevant field a plus
Relevant certifications, such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Hortonworks Certified Data Engineer a plus

Compensation at DXC is influenced by an array of factors, including but not limited to the experience, job-related knowledge, skills, competencies, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. A reasonable estimate of the current compensation range for this position is $115,100 - $213,700.

Full-time hires are eligible to participate in the DXC benefit program.
