Job description

We Are Hiring

Location: Destin, Florida

Facility: Ascension Sacred Heart Emerald Coast

Department: Employee Education

Schedule: Day | FT

What You Will Do
  • Strategic Educational Leadership: Assess, plan, and evaluate clinical educational activities across the continuum of care, serving as a strategic consultant for nursing performance initiatives and competency-based programming.

  • Collaborative Needs Assessment: Partner with organizational leaders and clinical staff to identify educational gaps and develop multi-faceted plans that address both core nursing competencies and specialized clinical needs.

  • Program Design & Evaluation: Analyze, design, and implement Nursing Professional Development (NPD) programs, utilizing precise measurement tools and data-driven methods to evaluate the achievement of learning goals and clinical outcomes.

  • Inter-professional Standards Management: Manage and oversee competency standards for inter-professional programs, ensuring all clinical staff practice at the highest extent of their licensure while maintaining organizational compliance.

What You Will Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted required.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. 

Work Experience:

  • Required professional licensure at time of hire.
