Introduction
We are seeking a skilled Data Engineer to join our team for a 6-month project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data engineering, with a focus on Microsoft Azure and related technologies. This role involves designing and maintaining scalable data pipelines, optimizing ETL workflows, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality and compliance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Proficiency in SQL Server, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Client Fabric.
  • Experience with Power BI and PythonPySpark.
  • Ability to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure services.
  • Experience in implementing and optimizing ETL workflows for structured and unstructured data.
  • Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.
  • Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with Azure Service Fabric and API development.
  • Knowledge of PL/SQL and data engines.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD and build pipelines.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory and related services.
  • Implement and optimize ETL workflows for structured and unstructured data across multiple sources.
  • Write and manage complex SQL stored procedures, table scripts, and data transformations.
  • Build and maintain analytical models and views in Client Fabric for enterprise reporting.
  • Develop and support Power BI dashboards ensuring accurate and timely insights.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
  • Drive continuous improvement in data processes to enhance performance and reliability.
