Job description

Meyer Utility Structures is currently looking to hire a Plant Administrative Assistant for our plant located in Hager City WI.  In this role, you will provide comprehensive administrative support across plant departments, including accounting/finance, human resources and quality control.  The successful candidate will also coordinate information and activities with internal team members, with third parties, vendors and/or customers.

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform general administrative duties and support for plant departments such as accounting, human resources, and quality control, etc.
  • Execute and report on research and data analysis projects as needed
  • Work independently and in a group setting when appropriate to determine best approach to assignments and processes
  • Coordinate information and activities with other team members
  • May coordinate or exchange information with third parties, vendors, or customers
  • Provide presence at front desk, assist guests and answer phones
  • Prepare and maintain various reports for HR, assist with payroll duties, scan documents, create announcements and postings 
  • Other job duties as assigned

What You’ll Need:

  • High school diploma or equivalent with up to 3 years of related work experience.
  • Requires basic job knowledge of systems and procedures obtained through prior work experience or education.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office, including excellent skills in Excel
  • Detail orientation with a high level of organization
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
