Overview
CTG is seeking a Data Engineer – Data Integration for our client. This contract opportunity focused on enterprise data integration, ETL development, data quality, and data warehouse solutions.
Location: Atlanta, GA
Duration: 4 months
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL solutions using Informatica PowerCenter.
- Build and support data integration processes for enterprise data warehouses and regulatory reporting.
- Translate business and technical requirements into scalable ETL solutions.
- Perform data profiling, source system analysis, data validation, reconciliation, and quality checks.
- Optimize ETL workflows for performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Troubleshoot ETL failures, production issues, data discrepancies, and performance bottlenecks.
- Perform root cause analysis and impact analysis for source system changes.
- Document data mappings, business rules, ETL processes, and technical solutions.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Data Integration, ETL, or related roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter.
- Strong SQL and relational database experience.
- Experience with ETL/ELT, data warehousing, business intelligence, and data integration.
- Experience with data profiling, data quality, reconciliation, and source system analysis.
- Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and root cause analysis skills.
- Experience supporting production ETL environments.
- Knowledge of Ab Initio and/or IBM DataStage is a plus.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
