What you'll bring
  • Significant experience leading the architecture, design, and delivery of cloud-based data platforms, with a strong focus on large-scale data engineering and analytics environments.
  • Deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP), including Dataflow, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Composer (Apache Airflow), and modern cloud-native data solutions.
  • Advanced experience designing and optimizing data warehouse and data lake architectures using Snowflake, including logical and physical data modeling.
  • Strong proficiency in Python and Structured Query Language (SQL), with a proven track record of building scalable Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) and Extract, Load, Transform (ELT) frameworks.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex technical initiatives, influencing stakeholders, and mentoring engineering teams to deliver high-impact business outcomes.
It's a bonus if you have
  • Experience leveraging dbt (data build tool) to create modular, scalable, and well-governed data transformation frameworks.
  • Hands-on expertise with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices for data platforms.
  • A Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
