Job description

Responsibilities

 Setup, troubleshoot, and manage basic operation of CNC mill/turn equipment

 Study blueprints, manuals, SOP, specifications, or sample part to determine dimensions and

tolerances of finished workpiece, sequence of operations and setup requirements

 Set up and operate machine on trial run to verify accuracy of machine settings or programmed

control data

 Fit and assemble parts into complete assembly or other work if needed

 Verify dimensions and alignment of assembly if required

 Maintaining smooth product flow which includes safety, quality, productivity, job assignments, and

delivery

 Precisely log work performed during setup/run times including quantities into our MRP system

(Visual)

 Good communicator who can confer with engineers, production personnel, programmers, or others

to resolve machining or assembly problems

 Perform other duties as required by management

Requirements

 Skill in operating CNC machinery and tooling as well as using precision measurement tools

 Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings

 Mechanical aptitude and good math skills

 Attention to detail and results-driven approach to work

 Good communication skills

 High school diploma or equivalent; certificate or diploma of relevant discipline is a plus

 6 months to one-year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and

experience
