Senior Quality Control Analyst – Asset Management / Housing
Tampa, FL
Full-Time | Temp to Hire

TempExperts is seeking an experienced Senior Quality Control Analyst to support an Asset Management department in Tampa, FL. This position is responsible for monitoring portfolio and property performance, conducting quality control reviews, supporting property operations, and providing administrative and analytical support to the Asset Management team.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in property management, asset management, real estate, facilities management, budgeting, or a related field, along with excellent analytical and organizational skills. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required, and Yardi experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Compile, analyze, and report portfolio performance information for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Perform quality control reviews of work orders and monitor work order performance, resolution, and completion.
  • Coordinate with property management, facilities maintenance, and assisted housing teams to support successful Housing Quality Standards inspections.
  • Monitor preventive maintenance, work orders, property conditions, and service delivery to ensure established standards are met.
  • Conduct housing and grounds inspections and identify areas requiring follow-up or corrective action.
  • Coordinate reasonable accommodation requests and household reassignment activities.
  • Provide administrative and operational support to Asset Managers and the Asset Management department.
  • Monitor property financial performance and assist managers with maintaining financial solvency.
  • Review property needs, maintenance expenses, budgets, and related expenditures for accuracy and appropriate allocation.
  • Review monthly operating statements and expense allocations to identify discrepancies or areas requiring attention.
  • Assist with strategies to reduce rent delinquency and maximize property revenue.
  • Develop and monitor marketing plans designed to support occupancy and revenue goals.
  • Track performance metrics and identify opportunities for operational improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, spreadsheets, and supporting documentation.
  • Collaborate with property managers, maintenance teams, and other departments to resolve issues and improve property performance.
  • Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Real Estate, or a closely related field preferred.
  • Six years of progressively responsible experience in budgeting, purchasing, facilities management, real estate, property management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills required.
  • Yardi experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience reviewing financial information, budgets, expenses, or operating statements.
  • Ability to analyze data and prepare clear, accurate reports.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating with property managers, maintenance personnel, and other departments.
  • Valid Florida Driver’s License.
  • Must be insurable under the agency’s insurance policy.
