Job Summary
  • Seeking a Data Scientist to develop performance metrics, analyze mission data, automate workflows, and create actionable visualizations
  • The successful candidate will use Python-based analytics and data‑science tools to identify technical gaps, measure system performance, and improve existing organizational processes
Primary Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain data ontologies and dictionaries
  • Establish systematic interdivisional metrics and performance measurements
  • Perform data analysis using Python, Jupyter notebooks, Pandas, and related tools
  • Develop data visualizations, reports, and dashboards
  • Identify access, technical, and data gaps and recommend data‑driven improvements
  • Automate analytical and reporting workflows
  • Develop or use APIs and tools to retrieve, transform, and analyze mission data
  • Present analytical results and technical findings to Government and mission stakeholders
Required Qualifications
  • Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph
  • Master’s degree with 9 years of relevant experience, Bachelor’s degree with 11 years of relevant experience, Associate's degree with 13 years of in-depth relevant experience that is clearly related to the position
  • Proficiency with Jupyter notebooks and Pandas DataFrames
  • Experience developing metrics and analyzing large or complex datasets
  • Experience interacting with APIs and building or using data‑retrieval tools
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Shapely, Plotly, Tableau, Power BI, or Matplotlib
  • Experience with Splunk or Kibana
  • Experience with SQL, Java, C++, HTML, or Bootstrap
  • Experience with SIGINT data collection or analysis
  • Experience with SIGINT data standards, including 450/451

Exempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans. Salary is dependent upon the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

The pay range for this role is:

170,000 - 220,000 USD per year (Ft. Meade MD)
