Job description

Role: Cloud Solutions Architect
Location: Austin, TX (Hybrid - 3 days remote with 2 days onsite (Monday & Wednesday))
Duration: Long Term
In person interview will be required
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for the cloud computing initiatives within an organization and for directing the architectural aspects of a cloud brokering team across all aspects of IT and the business.
  • Responsible for the planning and engineering of an organization's cloud computing infrastructure and applications.
  • Implements and designs hardware and software.
  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures of cloud technology, including Software as Service (SaaS), Platform as Service (PaaS), or Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).
  • Supports a regulated, multi-cloud enterprise environment, requiring expertise in data/AI platforms, vendor coordination, monitoring, and 24x7 operations, while ensuring security, compliance, and system reliability.

Qualifications:
Required Experience
  • 8+ years of experience with multi-cloud platforms, specifically Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • 8+ years of experience with Generative AI (GenAI) and enterprise AI platforms, including Google Gemini and Vertex AI.
  • 8+ years of experience using Azure Monitor, Azure Log Analytics, GCP Cloud Monitoring, and enterprise logging frameworks for performance, reliability, and usage monitoring.
  • 8+ years of experience utilizing Logstash for log ingestion, transformation, and integration with Azure Log Analytics to enable proactive monitoring and alerting.
  • 8+ years of experience designing and implementing alerting and notification solutions using Twilio (SMS/voice) for ETL failures and operational incidents.
  • 8+ years of experience working with Azure Blob Storage, Data Lakes, and structured storage systems supporting analytics and AI workloads.
  • 8+ years of hands-on experience supporting enterprise data pipelines, data platforms, and analytics workloads.
  • 8+ years of experience with Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS), Secure Agents, APIs, and enterprise integration patterns, including monitoring and troubleshooting integration challenges.
  • 8+ years of experience implementing Identity and Access Management (IAM), least-privilege security models, network security, audit logging, and compliance frameworks (FedRAMP and regulated environments).
  • 8+ years of experience supporting Tier 2/Tier 3 production issues, log analysis, platform access troubleshooting, and maintaining platform stability and reliability.

Preferred Experience
  • 3+ years of experience building and managing Tableau Cloud environments.
  • 3+ years of experience integrating ArcGIS and geospatial data systems with cloud-based data platforms.
  • 3+ years of experience with scripting and automation using Python, Bash, serverless technologies, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • 3+ years of experience working with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Docker, and microservices architectures.
  • 3+ years of experience with Data Mesh, ETL/ELT architectures, API integrations, and enterprise data standards.
  • 3+ years of experience applying analytical and problem-solving skills to assess platform issues, make architectural decisions, and resolve critical production challenges.
  • 3+ years of experience owning platform stability, reliability, and delivery while proactively identifying risks and driving successful outcomes.
  • 2+ years of experience translating complex technical concepts into business-friendly language and communicating effectively with stakeholders, leadership, and end users.
  • 2+ years of experience leading and coordinating cross-functional teams across engineering, data, infrastructure, and business organizations to deliver platform initiatives.
