Role Overview
We are seeking a Data Center subject matter expert with rich experience on data centre facilities and broader understanding of IT infrastructure and systems. Role is based in US with openness to travel based on customer needs. It's a leadership role working with account teams during presales and early execution phase. Will require good communication, presentation and customer handling skills. Will require working with partner eco system and offshore teams for building customer value proposition and differentiated solution.
SME should have worked in US market and understand local compliance and standards for data centres. Should have facilities systems overall design and operations tenets. Good understanding of AI data center requirements while experience of working on same is added advantage. Also understanding of data center IT infrastructure is added advantage.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 15+ years of total experience with minimum 10 years in data center facilties design, build, operate. Preferably 1-2 large data centres experience of hyperscaler or colo provider.
  • Experience in AI data center facilities design is added advantage
  • Expertise in one of the stream of DC facilities like MEP, electrical is expected while understanding of other systems.
  • Understanding of standards and compliances alongwith Tier level requirements.
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure is added advantage
  • Proven ability to create strategy + roadmap and translate into implementable designs.
  • Excellent documentation and communication skills, including executive-level narrative and technical depth.
  • CDCS or higher certification is desirable

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $285,000.00 to $350,000.00.
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
