About the Position

We are looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager/Engineer to join a highly technical group responsible for designing, constructing, and operating our network of data centers. 

In this role, you will be responsible for planning and overseeing multiple data center projects of varied capacities to ensure schedules and budgets are met. Projects are typically focused on end user fit out, in coordination with the landlord fit out, and you'll be working to interweave these construction timelines. 

Our team is highly collaborative in nature, spanning many internal departments and external vendors, contractors, consultants, and landlords. You'll liaise between internal stakeholders, data center providers, and external consultants across multiple projects at once to ensure they run smoothly from the concept stage to completion. 

About You
  • Have 7+ years of construction project management, project coordination, or superintendent experience in data center construction
  • Have a high level of experience in mechanical and electrical systems, including liquid-cooled data centers
  • Have extensive experience in procurement, contractor management, construction planning, and design oversight, including schedule development, quality control, workflow management, milestone tracking, risk management, long-lead material coordination, and collaboration with internal and external teams
  • Proven ability to deliver results no matter the task, with the solid technical experience to back it up
  • Motivated self-starter who can work independently and proactively follow up to close the loop on tasks and projects
  • Makes well-reasoned decisions backed by data
  • Excellent written and spoken communicator; able to describe detailed problems with brevity and accuracy
  • Creative, collaborative, and enthusiastic team player; eager to learn and take initiative 
  • Organized with strong time management skills and able to prioritize tasks, solve problems, and meet deadlines across multiple projects without losing attention to detail
  • Having a project management or engineering degree is a plus 
  • Having experience working with PlanGrid, Autodesk Build, Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, AutoCAD, REVIT/BIM, and/or MS Office is a plus
  • Willing to travel 4-6 weeks per year
