Job description

Position: Senior Project Manager- Data Center

Location : Meridian, MS

Job Overview:
The Senior Project Manager (SPM) is tasked with overseeing data center projects from preconstruction to final completion. Acting as the primary point of contact for the project team, the SPM leads both in-house and on-site teams, ensuring the successful delivery of data center projects. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for shop drawings and submittal reviews, as well as accurately tracking the budget and executing the schedule with all trades of work. The SPM provides monthly cost reports and owner billings and oversees communicating with local government officials regarding permitting and inspections to ensure that subcontractors maintain the proper focus on quality and safety.
Primary Duties:

  • Establishing a robust safety culture within data center projects.
  • Controlling costs and maintaining profitability while leveraging extensive experience in data center construction.
  • Managing field construction activities specific to data centers, including equipment installation, network components, and security systems.
  • Supervising the development of project schedules tailored to data center requirements.
  • Reviewing cost reports and implementing strategies to optimize costs within data center projects.
