Coordinate with Facilities leadership team and healthcare organization key stakeholders to determine project scope of work and expectations.

Communicate regularly to the project team.

Set up meetings and schedules.

Develop detailed project plans to track project progress.

Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time and within scope and budget.

Ensure that all DRMC and Tenet vendors are meeting project expectations.

Use project management software to track project budget and deliverables.

Developing project scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring feasibility.

Ensure resources and allocation.

Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.

Report and escalate challenges to management as needed.

Ensure a collegial relationship between key stakeholders and vendors.

Perform risk management to minimize project risks.

Establish and maintain relationships with vendors.

Help Director implement and maintain a quality management system.

Responsible for Joint Commission compliance and understand current Joint Commission EOC standards.

Represent the Facilities department in the absence of the Director.

Required:

Bachelor's degree, or relevant work experience

Prior work of Healthcare construction management

Experience with project management software

Knowledge of OSHPD standards

A Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) will be completed at time of hire and on an annual basis thereafter.

Current California driver's license; a copy of the renewed license will need to be submitted upon renewal.

Evidence of current car insurance; a copy of the renewed car insurance will be need to submitted upon renewal.

Thoroughly familiar with tools, methods of trade, ordering and selecting all material preferred.

Ability to treat all staff with fairness and to set the policies and rules and enforce them

Preferred:

Building technology certificate, four (4) years apprenticeship, two (2) years in cabinet shop.

"A" license with the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development.

Courses in trade school, math, steam powered equipment and safety requirements preferred
