Description

Seeking an Infrastructure Field Engineer to support network infrastructure assessments, documentation, and deployment activities across multiple locations. This role is responsible for conducting site discoveries, evaluating network and server room readiness, documenting existing environments, and providing hands-on support for infrastructure upgrades and refresh projects. The ideal candidate combines strong networking knowledge with practical experience in cabling, hardware installations, and troubleshooting. Responsibilities include performing site assessments, documenting rack layouts and network infrastructure, installing and testing network cabling, supporting rack and stack activities, troubleshooting connectivity issues, and assisting with implementation and cutover events. The engineer will work closely with project teams, operations teams, and third-party partners to ensure infrastructure is properly documented, prepared, and deployed. The ideal candidate has experience with enterprise networking environments, network cabling, hardware installations, and technical documentation. Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to travel extensively are required. Experience working in manufacturing, industrial, or plant environments is preferred.
