Our client, a leading organization in data center operations, is seeking a Data Center Technician 2  to join their team. As a Data Center Technician 2, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting critical infrastructure deployment and maintenance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, independence, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Data Center Technician 2

Location: Midland/Odessa, Texas

Pay Range: $35-42/hour, based on experience
What's the Job?

  • Lead installation and deployment of servers, switches, storage, and GPU infrastructure.
  • Configure BMC, iLO, and iDRAC management interfaces.
  • Perform firmware, BIOS, and hardware validation activities.
  • Troubleshoot server, storage, networking, power, and cabling issues.
  • Support GPU cluster acceptance, commissioning, and testing activities.

What's Needed?

  • 3+ years of data center operations, deployment engineering, or systems integration experience.
  • Strong server, networking, and storage hardware knowledge.
  • Experience with structured cabling and power distribution systems.
  • Ability to work independently and support multiple projects simultaneously.
