Role Summary
Join Walmart as a Senior Data Analyst supporting field operations within the ambient supply chain network. This role is focused on improving how frontline managers operate by reducing manual work, automating workflows, and enabling smarter, faster decision-making through data and AI-driven solutions.
You will partner directly with operations teams to identify pain points, translate business challenges into scalable technical solutions, and build tools that enhance efficiency across distribution centers. This position blends strong technical expertise with business acumen and stakeholder influence, making it ideal for someone who enjoys solving real-world operational problems with data and technology.
About the Team
You will join a small, high-impact technical team led by Spencer Jordan that supports Walmart’s ambient supply chain, specifically general merchandise distribution centers. The team develops network-wide tools and solutions used across both field operations and the home office (HQ).
This team is focused on driving innovation through data, automation, and AI—building scalable solutions that improve operational efficiency and decision-making. With a collaborative and fast-paced environment, the team partners closely with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver measurable business impact.
What You’ll Do
  • Partner with field operations teams to understand workflow challenges and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Design and build scalable data and automation solutions to reduce manual processes
  • Leverage AI and intelligent workflows to enhance speed, accuracy, and decision-making
  • Translate complex business problems into actionable, data-driven solutions
  • Develop dashboards, reports, and visualizations to communicate insights effectively
  • Identify, evaluate, and manage data sources to ensure accuracy and reliability
  • Perform data quality assessments and maintain ongoing monitoring processes
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, product, and analytics teams to implement solutions
  • Influence stakeholders and drive adoption of new tools and processes
