Job description

Title: Logistician III Clearance Type: Secret Scope: Provide logistics support services for the planning and execution of CPE IEW&S programs, initiatives and goals. Responsible for supervising and performing management or warehouse functions in order to maintain equipment records and parts. Raise the quality and accuracy of performance, cost and parts data through improved maintenance management. Responsibilities (including but not limited to) : * Establish and maintain stock records and other documents, such as inventory, material control, accounting and supply reports. * Unload, unpack, count, segregate, palletize and store incoming supplies and equipment in accordance with prescribed storage methods; rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials; examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage; removing material from storage and preparing it for shipment. * Operate the Global Combat Support System-Army, a logistics system used to track supplies, organizational equipment and spare parts. * Provide input and recommendations to programmatic products, processes and documentation based upon a comprehensive knowledge of Army regulation and policy as well as pertinent laws and procedures. * Coordinate and define logistics requirements for milestone decisions and other decisions, reviews and assessments, to include independent logistics assessments. * Prepare and review miscellaneous reports provided to senior management. * Assist CPE elements with preparing and providing input into the formulation of short and longrange logistics and product support planning. * Provide input, analysis and recommend changes to logistics resource planning and budgetary products derived from logistics requirements and various enterprises. * Support logistics audits and audit readiness testing by completing such actions as collecting existing auditable documents for assessment, examining documents for completeness and proper annotation, verifying document numbers (transactions) and submitting documents to auditors for review. * Support CPE efforts to assist Program Offices in managing PM owned and fielded property in an Accountable Property System of Record (APSR) and the Decision Support Tool (DST). * Coordinate with Program offices and other CPE representatives to collect data within cPROBE, FMSWeb, and DST and report on authorizations, requirements, projected quantities, fielded equipment, and other data as required to support Army enterprise data transparency. * Attend fielding synchronization meetings by coordinating and briefing information associated with CPE systems in support of Unit Set Fielding as required. * Assist with 50/50 depot maintenance data collection/consolidation/review, transportation budgetary process; and Program Objective Memorandum (POM) Program Reviews. * Create and maintain various Microsoft Office or similar documents, presentations, and spreadsheets. Qualifications Required Qualifications : * Bachelor's Degree. * Minimum two (2) years' related work experience is required.
