Triage Analyst - Autonomous Vehicle Systems (Onsite)
Location: Pittsburgh, PA, United States (Onsite)
Compensation: $30.00 - $34.00/hour
Schedule: Full-time, 30+ hours per week
Contact role | Two -stage onsite interview
Position Overview
We are hiring a skilled Triage Analyst to support Autonomy, Operations, and System Performance teams. This role is responsible for reviewing, annotating, classifying, and reporting on autonomous vehicle (AV) events derived from real-world driving and simulation data.
This is a fully onsite position. Candidates must be located in or able to commute to Pittsburgh, PA.
Key Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze events of interest from real-world autonomous driving and simulation environments
  • Annotate and label AV events with contextual metadata in accordance with Triage Policies and Operational Guidelines
  • Classify events by issue type, severity, and priority
  • Utilize data visualization and review tools, including video, numerical, and textual datasets
  • Collaborate with Autonomy Engineering, Operations, and Analytics teams
  • Generate, analyze, and present quantitative and qualitative performance reports
  • Ensure consistent and accurate application of documentation, workflows, and quality standards
  • Support operational triage processes critical to autonomous vehicle system validation

Required Qualifications (Must Have)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to apply complex operational or technical guidelines
  • Experience working in data analysis, operations, quality review, or technical annotation roles
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace / G Suite (Sheets, Docs, Slides) or equivalent productivity tools
  • Experience producing structured reports and performance summaries
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, collaborative environment
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in policy-driven workflows

Preferred Qualifications (Nice to have)
  • Prior experience as a Triage Analyst, Data Annotation Analyst, Labeling Analyst, QA Analyst, or similar role
  • Experience within autonomous vehicles (AV), robotics, ADAS, or intelligent transportation systems
  • Familiarity with 2D/3D visualization, modeling, or simulation tools
  • Experience using custom internal web-based tools or operational platforms
  • Background in engineering support, operations analytics, or system performance analysis
