Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm
Pay Rate: $40.00-$45.00/hr. depending on experience
Location: Taylor, TX
Position Type: Full-time
Benefits: This position is eligible for WGNSTAR’s full benefits package, including Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k). Additional benefits are listed at the end of this posting.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Create and update BIM models based on design documents.
  • Ensure models adhere to project standards and naming conventions.
  • Maintain organized and accurate models throughout all project phases.
  • Support model coordination across multiple disciplines.
  • Facilitate clash detection to identify potential design conflicts.
  • Collaborate with Coordinators and Leads regarding routing conflicts or missing data.
  • Execute revisions promptly based on markups, RFIs, and design changes.
  • Support QA/QC efforts by reviewing assigned views and correcting inconsistencies.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years in BIM modeling or related field.
  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Drafting, Design, Construction, Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Strong experience in detailed annotation and drawing production
  • Revit production experience
  • Industrial, MEP, electrical, or VDC exposure
  • Strong work ethic and coachability
  • Ability to support production with limited ramp-up time
  • Interest in long-term growth within BIM and coordination
